Aaron Fitch

Botanist

Aaron has extensive experience in the field of natural resources, habitat restoration, and biological monitoring. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz and thereafter set forth into the Great Northwest to cultivate an enthusiasm for native plants. While surveying rare fungi and bryophytes, planting thousands of riparian trees, and growing veggies for the local community, those roots grew deeper.  Aaron has spent the past ten years with ECI and CCW monitoring restoration projects, seed collecting, conducting germination trials, and propagating watershed specific native plants for the central coast. He is a California Certified Field Botanist (CFB #0042) and is a seasoned VegCamp surveyor across Northern California.
