ECI has partnered with the City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department to provide vegetation management and flood control services for the San Lorenzo River Levee in Downtown Santa Cruz.

Project Description
ECI is working with the City of Santa Cruz to comply with the stringent vegetation management requirements set forth by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), while also maintaining the ecological health and beauty of the San Lorenzo River levee. Our team is trained to identify and minimize negative impacts to the sensitive riparian ecology. Our trained teams work to preserve native species, eliminate invasive species while clearing excess vegetation from the river channel. ECI is helping the City and USACE by clearing vegetation and preventing the downtown corridor from flooding during high flow events during strong winter storms.
