Project Description

ECI performed coastal bluff revegetation required by UCSC’s Coastal Long Range Development Plan at the Long Marine Lab Campus owned by UC Santa Cruz. This project was focused on a custom design-build planting, irrigation, and maintenance project along a public walkway used by UCSC students and staff to get to and from the campus. The project included design and construction of an irrigation system for 5+ acres of CEQA-mandated native plantings. Over 100,000 locally-sourced native plants were installed by ECI, many of which were propagated by CCW.
