PG&E Hosts Water Conservation Showcase with Bobby Markowitz

Bobby Markowitz, ECI staff landscape architect and resident rainwater expert, recently spoke to a group of about 150 people at the Water Conservation Showcase being held at the PG&E Pacific Energy Center in South San Francisco. The day was filled with free events and lectures. Mr. Markowitz will be presenting case studies of Closed Loop Designs, the utilization of rainwater for indoor domestic non-potable use, and the use of grey water to irrigate landscapes.
He left the group thinking about how efficient alternatives translate into huge water savings. They also mitigate storm water runoff which has become a major focus of building and development regulations.
